Saturday, Jan 9, 2016 Weekly Athletic NEWS

Congratulations to Varsity Wrestling on their win

yesterday over Parkland High School.

Weekly Athletic NEWSAttention to all students who choose to sit in the Pit Crew at games. Part of the responsibility of sitting in the Pit Crew and being a part of the Pit Crew has always been to both assist with putting away the team chairs and cleaning up the Pit Crew section of the bleachers to help out Mr. Berry. Last game, we had some help with the chairs, but the Pit Crew Section was left trashed. In order to continue to let students have a Pit Crew Section, the Pit Crew Officers and all students who are part of the Pit must assist with putting away chairs and cleaning the Pit Crew section of the bleachers. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Weekly Athletic NEWS

Attention all students who play a sport or any extracurricular activity. This is a reminder that if you come late to school from a medical appointment, you MUST bring a note from the medical provider’s office in order to be eligible to participate that day. A note from your parents will not suffice. The note must be from the medical provider’s office!

Weekly Athletic NEWS

Attention all students storing gym bags in the gym. Gym bags may NOT be left on the gym floor. They are blocking the fire extinguisher access which is a fire code violation. All bags must be placed on top of the bleachers. All bags left on the floor will be picked up and will have to be claimed at the very end of the day from the Athletic Department.

Weekly Athletic NEWS

All students must have a completed physical and Athletic Participation/Sportsmanship Pledge Form prior to coming out for a sport. All physicals are good for 12 months from the date of the physical. The NCHSAA Physical Form can be downloaded from the main athletic webpage by clicking on the physical form in the drop down box and then clicking "go". All physicals must be completed by a physician on the NCHSAA Physical Form.
