The LeadersThese people are the first to take onthe technology, the early adopterswho usually document andenthusiastically share what thehave tried, warts and all.
The Sharp Ones.These are the people who see whatthe early adopters have done,willingly grab the best of it, learnfrom the mistake of others and dogreat stuff with their sutdents.
The WoodThese people would use the technologyif someone , would just give them thegear, set it up, train them and keep itrunning. All they need is help fromsome sharp people and they wouldbe doing it too.
The Ferrules
These people hang on tightly to whatthey know. They keep a strong gripon the traditional teaching practiceand feel that the time is not for thetechnology in the classroom.
The ErasersThese people endeavour to undo much,if not all of the work done by the leaders.

Hangers-on know all the right lingo,attend all the seminars, but justdon’t actually do anything.
