I found it extremely easy to use the online submission system.

It is easy to use and saves on the hassle of printing and having to travel to the library if you don't live in the city centre.

It means that I can stay at home and email my work over instead of driving 40 minutes and killing polar bears.

So much easier than having to spend half an hour finding a computer in the library just to print your work off. Feedback is received much quicker too.

Works especially well for a student who has numerous deadlines. It causes less stress when submitting as, online campus centres, there aren't any queues or paper work to fill out. The feedback is also useful as it is easily accessed.

ConsAt this level of academic study the impersonal method of marking online trivialises the hard work put into essays. Ideally, (time allowing), essay feedback should involve intimate, constructive discussions between the lecturer and the student, instilling positivity in the student and providing specific aims to achieve improvement in the next piece of work. This is impossible and viewing essay feedback online is a little bit detaching from reality. I think that it takes internet usage a little too far!

Very minimal con - although it is useful and easy to access feedback, sometimes it is better to discuss in person with the tutor/lecturer.

Wasn't sure how to find feedback on my essay initially via blackboard, could be clearer.
