DAVID GRAY

After serving an apprenticeship, I worked as a toolmaker involved with the manufacture of jigs, fixtures, press tool and plastic injection and blow moulds. I also worked as maintenance fitter for a variety of manufacturing organisations before taking management responsibility for maintenance departments. In the mid 1980’s I moved into a technical training role with Kimberly Clark before taking responsibility of the training department. The mid 1990’s saw a move to QAS (now SAI Global) as a facilitator/auditor. In this time at SAI Global approximately two and a half years was spent as the Business Unit Manager of the training department.

I have a broad experience in manufacturing and service organisations. Manufacturing experience covers areas such as high speed conversion of raw material into finished goods, foundry, die casting, plastic extrusion. Service experience covers educational institutions, councils, transport organisations, various government departments.
