January 3, 2016 Dear NIH UDP Fellowship Applicant: Thank you for contacting us about the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Program 2015 Fellowship. This is the third year that we are offering the fellowship, which is funded through the NIH Common Fund. Interested persons should provide a brief (1 to 2 page) letter summarizing your academic background, scholarly/professional interests, and current situation (faculty, resident, post-doc, graduate student, etc.). The letter should also include a succinct statement outlining your reasons for applying to the program. The letter, along with a current CV, should be sent to me by the application deadline of March 15 th , 2016 We would also like to have two letters of recommendation, one from your supervisor (department chair, residency director, advisor, etc.), and one from another person familiar with your work. Letters of recommendation will be accepted until April 1 st , 2016. All materials should be sent to me, by email or post, at the above address. Salary will be contingent on experience. Given the wide range of potential applicants, an estimate cannot be provided here. Excellent applicants will be interviewed by phone.
