DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, TTPS, LALPANIAManaged by : DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi-55
Estd. 1991A Silvery Sheen (Silver Jubilee Celebration)
(1991-2016)
Souvenir
D.A.V Public School, T.T.P.S, Lalpania, almost 75 KMs away from its district Bokaro, is one of the beauties of Jharkhand. Under a keen observation and educational shade of D.A.V Management New Delhi, a notable educational giant of the country, DAV Lalpania is situated at the foot of a hill called Lugu Baba Mountain, which is blessed with pristine nature’s beauty and a banless environment. The school which is fully sponsored by the T.T.P.S Management has been provided an impressive building with a massive campus in 1990 to cater all the educational development of the children. The sponsoring body Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited as per the agreement has facilitated the school with all necessities to impart education upto Sr. Secondary level.
The school has its own recognition in the area of highest scoring marks in the subject of Hindi in CBSE Exams. The DAV Management, New Delhi, has not only put this school under very good category but also has awarded it as “Pride of DAV” in recognition of its academic excellence. DAV Lalpania has been rendering a yeoman service not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities, value education, computer education and sports activities to bring all round development of its students. The school has been excelling in games and sports not only at zonal level but also at national level in the events organized through MHRAT/DAV National Games & Sports as well as CBSE. A good number of our students have already been serving our country in various dignified posts as well as a considerable numbers are enrolled in different prestigious technological institutes from IIT and NIT and to state recognized institutes. Our specialties lie in imparting quality education and honing various skills not only to the children of TTPS employees but also the backward tribal people’s children. We feel proud to be acclaimed by many eminent personalities for evolving a true spirit of learning, a sense of patriotism, feelings of sportsmanship, outstanding approach of conduct and discipline among our students.
No doubt, the school has successfully marched a long educational journey. However, still it has miles to go to bring more glory and grandeur. And we are quite sanguine to add more height to the life of the school. Such a long successful march could become possible owing to the dedicated spirit of DAV Management New Delhi, Regional Directors, Principal, Staff members of the school and above all incessant assistance of TVNL officials, parents, guardians and the well wishers. For all these a sincere sense of gratitude is being extended.

Studies pass into character1
Vision gives birth to hope, aspiration and desire to proceed towards goals. Vision is an encouraging force which makes our survival meaningful and brings cheers and enthusiasm to procure the fixed objectives. Our vision is undoubtedly unambiguous and inviting. Our vision is surely our inspiration and motivation to keep pace with the
demanding situation for the betterment of our students, society, nation and the world. As a school is the paragon and paradise to chisel the human civilization, it must nurture and march with a vision.
Academic excellence is our one of the prime concerns. We do pledge to bring academic boost to do justice with the prescribed syllabi at every level. It is a fact, action speaks louder than words, we do believe the saying and will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling our academic vision. THE Chief concern of the world today is the dwindling moral values among human beings. We are conscious of this unpleasant truth. It is appreciating to note that our academicians are careful in making our curriculum fraught with morals and ethics. Hence, our vision is to mingle the academics with an aroma of moral and ethical teachings. To impart education to our students to help them grow with all human traits that is a dire need. We must not lag behind in imparting quality education.
The school cherishes a vision to help our students imbibe a profound sense of patriotism to sacrifice for motherland. Their thoughts, their feelings and their actions must be dedicated towards nation. They do live for nation and make our ancestors’ dreams come true. Apart from this, the school is well aware of the ailing condition of our environment. Hence, it is our prime duties to make our coming generation environment friendly. Our students must know the disheartening condition of our mother earth and they too ascertain their contribution to save earth. Evidently, school can play a vital role to bring awareness and we pledge to do so.
Surely, no gold makes a nation great. In fact the real wealth of a nation is its healthy, diligent, devoted and dedicated citizens. As the future of our country is shaped in the class-rooms, the school nurtures a vision to help our students know the value of good health. To make them health conscious is our vision.
In addition, development of co-scholastic aspects of the personality of the students such as life skills, attitude and values, participation and achievement in co-curricular activities are our desired visions. Our vision is to facilitate t h e physical, mental and emotional well-being of every student.
We express our sincere hope in discharging our duties to its fullest. We do believe in “woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep
Miles to go before I sleep, Miles to go before I sleep.”
