Classroom News

• Pre-Kindergarten: Pre-K is learning the letter G. Our saying for the week is: “Get groovy, not grumpy!” We are even dressing groovy with headbands and peace signs! Our buddies are groovy too! We are also hosting the Mass tomorrow with our buddies!

• Grade Four: We are continuing to add and subtract fractions in Math. We are starting a new unit in Science next week. Stay tuned for our new topic! We have also started a chapter book, Frindle for reading. We have been connecting the book to our own lives and to other texts we have read. Ask your student about has happened so far in the book!

Lights, Camera, Auction!

St. Teresa School will be hosting our auction, “Lights, Camera, Auction” on Saturday, June 3

from 6:00pm-10:00pm at Saint Raphael Academy! The evening will include live auction items, silent auction items, raffle baskets, mystery wine bottles, student artwork sale, and a tuition raffle The event will be 21+! We are looking for donations of gift

certificates, bottles of wine, and any other items that would be great for our event! Keep your eyes peeled for more information, especially about the Tuition Raffle! This will be our major fundraiser for the

school year, thank you in advance for your support!

• Grade Five: Grade 5 with their Kindergarten buddies will be leading the school in saying the Rosary on Friday May 12th at 1:00pm. This is the ere of the 100th Anniversary of the Apparation in Fatima. All are welcome to join us! Grade 5 families collected 35 bags of 40 items as our Lenten Service project. Thank you to all who helped us!

• Spanish: Children in Pre-K have learned how to do the Macarena using their Spanish numbers from 1 to 10!

Classroom News • Drama: Please note the

change in Drama schedule for the month of May. Rehearsals will be from 2:15-4:00 May 1, 3, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17. Dress rehearsal will be Friday, May 19, 6:00-9:00pm at the Coutu Theater, Maynard St. at Saint Raphael Academy, Saturday May 20, students will be at the theater from 12:00-9:00pm. All Drama students have received the rehearsal calendar for May. Crew will receive their calendars tomorrow April, 28. The performances are May 20 at 2:00 & 7:00pm.

• TONER RECYCLING PROGRAM IS COMING TO AN END: Due to the administrative requirements of this program, unfortunately we will be discontinuing our Toner Cartridge Recycling Program. If you have any printer toner cartridges to turn in for recycling, please be sure they are in by the end of the month. After April 30th, we will no longer be able to accept any further toner cartridges Thank you to those who have donated to this program in the past!

• Please make sure that tuition payments are current as we approach the end of the school year.
