We welcome you to our service today and give a special welcome to anyone who is visiting or here for the first time. If you are new to Trinity, we’re delighted you’re here and would encourage you to take a moment to introduce yourself to someone sitting close to you, and to David our minister
Crèche facilities (6mths to 3yrs old) are available from the start of the service (to the far right as you leave this hall). Primary school age children leave the service to go to our children’s program ‘Trinity Zone’ and young people to yPod when announced.

FLOWER ROTA There is a new blank flower rota in the foyer. Please write your name in the slot of your choice if you can supply
flowers for the Sunday service. Alternatively, if you would like to be a
part of the flower rota but aren’t able to arrange the flowers yourself there is a
solution. Tracey McCaughran has very kindly
offered to arrange the flowers for anyone who needs help. By giving her
the money for the flowers, Tracey is will buy them, rearrange them and set them
out in time for Morning Worship. If you have any questions please
speak with Olive Dougherty.

Call to Lenten Prayer In this year of Connexional Prayer, our President has called all of the Methodist people to commit to pray the prayer below on each of the 40 days of lent at 12pm
Loving God, as our minds focus on Jesus’ journey to the Cross, we bow our lives in awe before you. Stir our hearts with longing for Your Kingdom, make us restless for Your ways. Where we are tired, where the future looks uncertain and we don’t know what to do, may your Holy Spirit breathe life and hope. Root us deep in you. Sweep away anything in us which does not speak of You. Set our hearts on fire with Your love and joy. Open our eyes that we might see Your vision for Your church and for our communities. We pray for Your blessing on the Methodist Church in Ireland; give us courage and boldness as we walk with You. We pray for Your blessing on our communities and for protection from all that harms. We celebrate the wonder of your love which creates and forms all that is, which is seen supremely in Jesus, and which is brought home to human hearts as the Spirit breathes. May this love make us catch our breath and turn our lives upside down. In the power of Your Spirit send us out to share that love with others. We pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Take time to be quiet and listen. Pray for the people and situations which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind: your church and community, President of the Methodist Church and the Secretary of Conference as he undergoes treatment for cancer and for all ministers and leaders, lay workers and volunteers in our churches.
