The Jubilee, a supple and comfortable five-piece linkmetal bracelet, was designed and made especially for the launchof the Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 1945.

CHAMPAGNE-COLOUR DIAL

The dial is the distinctive face of a Rolex watch,the feature most responsible for its identity andreadability. Characterised by hour markersfashioned from 18 ct gold to prevent tarnishing,every Rolex dial is designed and manufacturedin-house, largely by hand to ensure perfection.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE ADATE MAKES

Influenced by the pioneering Datejust, the date on the Datejust 41 isdisplayed in a window at 3 o’clock and changes instantaneously.The Cyclops lens on the crystal, invented by Rolex in 1953,magnifies the date for easy reading.

3235 MOVEMENT

This model is equipped with a new generation movement, calibre3235, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex for asuperlative level of performance. Certified as a Swiss chronometerby COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), it is tested asecond time by Rolex after being cased to ensure that in everydayuse it satisfies Rolex’s criteria for precision, which are twice asexacting as those for an officially certified chronometer. This controlof the final precision of the assembled watch is carried out using amethodology and high-technology equipment specially developedby Rolex.
