Cricket Tournament

11th & 12th October’14

Match will start at 7 am onwards. Total 11 matches will be played each of 1hr 40min, which consists 12 teams of 132 players (1 substitute only for whole team registered.)

Last date for registration is 2nd Oct’14. Note: It is Mandatory for all the participants to attend the Meeting which will be conducted on 5th oct’14, (Time : 10.00 am) to allocate the team members as well as appointing their Captain and vice captain of respective team. (Venue-ICAI Bhavan, 123 Sardar Patel Colony, Nr. Usmanpura Under bridge, Naranpura Ahmedabad)

Remarks:

On tournament day, every participant should bring their Student registration card or tournament registration card along with them.

Rules of Cricket as Below:

i. A team can enlist a maximum of 12 players. Playing eleven shall be on the sole discretion of captain.

ii. Each match will be played for 10 over. However the same may be reduced due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, dew, bad light etc. However minimum number of over cannot be less than 6. In other words to have match on hand, minimum 6 over are mandatory. In the absence of match the decision will be brought by one over match.

iii. Each match must be completed in 100 minutes (45 minutes each team + 5 minutes break). For delay of more than 5 minutes, 5 run to be reduced of the team.

iv. Each bowler can bowl maximum 2 over in a 10 over match and shall be reduced proportionately in case over are reduced.

v. 3rd and 4th over would be power play, in power play, only 3 players will be allowed outside the 30 yards circle. After power play, 5 fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yards circle.

vi. New batsman has to take stance in 90 seconds, otherwise it will be considered time out and new batsman will follow.

vii. No bouncer is allowed in any match and it will be considered as no ball.

viii. There will be free hit after every no ball which is a no ball due to over stepping.

ix. If any team fails to have final playing eleven due to any reason, then that team will not be disqualified. The team will have to play with the available players.

x. In case of Tie, the result of the match will be decided by the super over.

xi. For on field disputes, the decision taken by filed umpires will be final.

xii. There will be prize for MAN OF MATCH of all the Matches played and also overall prizes for the MAN OF THE SERIES, BEST FIEIDER,

BEST BOWLER and BEST BATSMAN.

xiii. All decisions of the Tournament Core Committee of the tournament shall be final & binding on all the participating members.

xiv. The Tournament Core Committee reserves the right to amend the rules before the start of the tournament.
