side of the roadway causing the truck to overturn and land on it’s top. Both passengers were uninjured.

fire, E501 was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming vehicle that was traveling in the wrong lane. E501 used defensive driving techniques to avoid a head-on collision.

E401• Date: March 4, 2009 • Time of Day: 1315• Location: Route J at Gray Rd.• Response Mode: Emergency Response• Description: Responding to a NCF, the driver of

E401 glanced down at the map book to verify the incident location. The rear dual tires left the roadway causing the driver to overcorrect. E401 rolled over and the engine compartment caught fire. The driver was pulled from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital.

call, E301 encountered a large tree in the middle of the roadway. In attempt to avoid the tree, E301 steered left and struck branches causing damages to the apparatus. There were no injuries.
