ASHA FOR EDUCATION – ST. LOUIS
P.O. Box 322, New York,
NY 10040 -- 0322.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Sub: Request for Sponsorship towards Recurring Expenses for Hope Special School
functioning at Ambattur & Abandoned Shelter Home at Aminjikarai Centre
Greetings from Hope Public Charitable Trust. We submit our humble thanks for the
entire team of “Asha for Education”, Volunteers and Well wishers for the continuous guidance and support rendered to our organization.
With the sponsorship aid from your esteemed organization, we were able to provide
quality education through trained and qualified faculty members for 75 children in our day care centre.
In addition to the Hope Special School activities we are running a Shelter Home for
the Abandoned Special Children. You will be happy to note that the Government of Tamilnadu has entrusted a residential centre at Aminjikarai to our trust. At present a strength of 40 Special children are been taken care at Shelter Home premises in the age group from 13 yrs to 45 yrs these children are referred by “Police Station” & Child welfare Centres.
We seek your support towards the sponsorship of requirements for our Day care
centre and Shelter Home Centre. Your valuable contribution will enable our trust to run the various welfare programmes more effectively, efficiently and to carry on our future plans for expansion.
Our trust expresses deep gratitude for your support during the last couple of years.
You will earn the gratitude of hundreds of “God’s Children”. Only through such acts of kindness, we can make this world a better place even the disabled to live in.
The Budgetary Estimate report is given at the attachment for your kind reference. We look forward to your valuable support. Thanking you,
Essential Reasons for the NGO’s Eligibility to receive the Fund
Though the disabled people constitute 10% of the population, there
are not enough schools or training Centres to develop their talent
skills and abilities.
Among the disabled, the Mentally Retarded are the most neglected
section. While the physically disabled can be almost made “Normal”,
with the help of various gadgets and equipments the development of
the Mentally Retarded has limitations
In spite of this, Hope Trust has come forward to take care of these
“God’s Children” and make them also useful citizens. Though we want
to admit more children and expand our activities, we are unable to
carry out our programmes due to paucity of funds. Our dream project
is to set up a Training Cum Production Centre, so that those children
are socially and economically rehabilitated. We carry on our services
with the hope that better days will dawn for the disabled.
Hence, we appeal, to consider our humble request with due
sympathy and help us “to make this world a better place, even for
these disabled children”.
