Use the best Video over IP (VIP) solution for entertainment, digital signage, and security applications with the netCast Player II. The netCast Player converts a digital video stream to NTSC or PAL analog video and stereo audio outputs. The stream can come from netCast Streamer, netCast Server, or other media sources. netCast Player also supports three modes of operation for additional use and flexibility: Live (display stream from a netCast Streamer), VOD (display stream from the netCast Server), and VOHD (play locally stored video files). A built-in CompactFlash card interface supports recording video steams to a CF card. The netCast Player is ideal for distributed video and digital signage because it can transmit video anywhere to multiple clients easily and cost-efficiently. Furthermore, it is configured and managed using HTTP and an Internet browser. Built-in programmable timers support time event triggered video recording. netCast Player can be supported either as a stand-alone unit or configured to work with other netCast products.

The netCast Server is a Windows application that automatically detects all netCast Player II units on a subnet as well as all video content stored locally or on a hard disk. It works with netCast Player II to allow the digitized video to be streamed to one or more Player II units and can stream or download different files to specific units. The netCast Server application also provides an easy interface for scheduling content according to day, time, or even specific events.
