Overview/Summary • This was the Restaurant Database assignment. We were assigned to make a database with Microsoft Access and include restaurants and information about them. We had to include Street name, City, State, Phone #, Prices, Type of food, Type of Service, etc.


•This is the design view of the Restaurant database which was mostly use for editing the data types of the field names.


•This is the Price table in the data sheet view. It shows all the prices used by the restaurants. It creates a relationship between the Price and Price ID because every price has an ID. The Prices ($) are portrayed in the Restaurant table also therefore this table has a relationship with the Restaurant table. Prices are normally a number such as $56. However in this case each dollar sign represents more money.


•This is the Type of food table in the data sheet view. It shows all of the types of food that are used in the database.


•This is the Type of Service table in the datasheet view. It shows all of the types of services possible in the database which includes: Fast food, sit down, buffet, drive in, formal, and party table services.


• This shows the relationships between the tables in the database


This was a good assignment for me because it helped me understand databases a lot more than before and helped me realize the relationships between different things such as tables in a database.
