Introduction
ID: 269
You have logged into a survey for region [question('value'), id='382'] and country [question('value'), id='383']. If this is incorrect, please return to the login page and login with correct credentials.
This monthly survey gathers data needed to help measure the socio-economic impacts of measures to control COVID-19.
Why are we collecting these data? These questions are investigating the socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 and related response measures in your country. We have also pulled out data on critical pre-COVID-19 baseline indicators from HELIX here; we continue to
update data from external global/regional sources on country measures in response to COVID-19 here. Together with this survey, this data feeds ongoing advocacy to mitigate the socio-economic impacts on children and their families and communities. It also provides critical context to support analysis of survey data, nationally, regionally and globally, including statistical modelling on outcomes for children.
How should you organize logistically to respond to this survey?
Response to this survey requires inputs from sector/issue specialists across the CO. To help you determine who to involve, you can download a PDF of the form here for reference but it SHOULD NOT BE USED TO ANSWER THE SURVEY.
Navigating the survey. The survey is organized by pages/sectors – Education, Health, Nutrition, WASH, Child Protection, Social Protection and a final section on Inclusion/Climate Change/DRR. Some questions on the socio-economic impacts for adolescents, ECD and disability are integrated in sectors as relevant.
Multiple people can contribute to filling this survey. The best way to do so is by adding their email to the relevant sector in the Sector Navigator page and clicking the Send button.
You may fill in the survey at multiple sittings. Your responses are saved as you go.
You do need an active internet connection while filling in the survey, and it can be filled in even with a mobile device.

The next two questions measure the estimated proportion of children affected by COVID-19 related educational institution closures that are able to access continued learning programmes based on best available estimates. The options below allow you to provide overall and/or disaggregated (i.e. pre-primary, primary, secondary) responses depending on available information.
How to estimate: Note estimates are NOT focusing on coverage of all school-aged children; rather they are focusing on all children affected by closures and the potential coverage of that population through continued learning programmes. We are asking for a rough estimate on a scale as follows: Not applicable / Do not know, None, <10%, 10-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100%. We are asking you to
base your estimate on available information from different sources – Ministry of Education data whether formal or informal, media reports, etc. Estimates must consider geographic and population group overlaps; for example, in calculating access to methods with student-teacher interaction nationally or for a sub-national admin boundary, where more than one method is accessible, use the highest estimate as total coverage.
Validation: Min. answers = 4 (if answered) Min. answers per row = 4 (if answered)
