Merge Unity PACS™

An all-in-one diagnostic imaging and information management solution

Physicians today are juggling multiple platforms to read clinical exams, impacting their focus and reducing their efficiency. The complexity of their reading environment is affecting their productivity, leading to frustration, disjointed workflow, and system workarounds - all wasting valuable time that could be used to interpret images, and ultimately lowering their throughput.

How We Can Help You

At Watson Health, we understand the unique workflows of radiologists and the everyday medical challenges imaging centers face. That’s why we built Merge Unity PACS specifically for the radiologist, with clinical efficiencies in mind, enabling our customers to focus on creating value for their physicians while increasing the value of their business.

The development of the Merge Unity solution began with an intensive imaging assessment to reduce the time and steps needed to perform all key radiology functions. Multispecialty reading can be conducted on a single system to eliminate switching between reading platforms, provide a simplified view, and ensure that the radiologist’s time is maximized. Merge Unity PACS was designed to optimize and improve the specialized work of radiologists through single interfaces, fewer clicks, faster turnaround time, fully integrated tools, and cleaner reports.

“The Merge Unity products give the radiologist a very simplified view, helping them to become much more efficient with the PACS system.”Marc Behun, Director of Integration, California Medical Business Services

With Merge Unity PACS™ you can:

Improve Workflow · Automatically shuffle between overlaid images

to improve the radiologist’s ability to detect any change in pathology between recent and historical images

· Eliminate useless steps and simplify the reading workflow to reduce reading time while increasing accuracy

Access Advanced Imaging Tools· Interpret images faster and with increased

confidence by leveraging intuitive 3D image visualization processing tools: MPRs, MIPs, vessel analysist/tracking, cardiac calcium scoring, and colon analysis

· Maximize reading radiologists’ satisfaction with advanced image processing, image fusion, image shuffling, and automatic relevant priors

Increase Interpretative Throughput· Reduce report turnaround time and accuracy with

Merge Unity Instant Reporter, a fully integrated clinical reporting assistant

· Automatically pre-populate reports via data injection and templates to significantly reduce the amount of information requiring dictation

Image Shuffling, a Patented Technology

Image Shuffling is a viewing method that has been found to improve reading speed by 15%1. With the increasing number of cases and images within those cases, image shuffling is designed to help radiologists better perceive any differences or changes between recent and historical images. Instead of viewing exams side-by-side with excessive head and eye movement, radiologists can “flip” between overlaid comparison images.

An all-in-one RIS-PACS-reporting platform

Merge Unity is an integrated RIS-PACS-Reporting platform with advanced imaging capabilities. Built as a smart IT turnkey imaging workflow solution, Merge Unity reduces the need for high maintenance
