NETWORK RESILIENCY THROUGH FAULT DETECTION SoftwarefeaturessuchasVirtualSwitchRedundancyProtocol(VSRP),BrocadeMetro-RingProtocol(MRP)v1andv2,RapidSpanningTreeProtocol(RSTP),protectedlinkgroups,802.3adLinkAggregation,andtrunkgroupsprovidealternatepathsfortrafficintheeventofalinkfailure.Sub-secondfaultdetectionutilizingLinkFaultSignaling(LFS)andRemoteFaultNotification(RFN)helpsensurefastfaultdetectionandrecovery.
