Thoreb Data Logger and CCTV camera system captures specific data and video sequences from the operation of the vehicle. With GPS position and time logged during an operation, all data and video can be analysed second by second afterwards.
The Data Logger records reliable data from chassis CAN-bus sys-tem, data which can show exactly how the vehicle was operated during an incident.
The CCTV system consists of up to 4 cameras, a display screen for the driver´s cab and a control unit with video recorder. The video recorder captures video continuously from all cameras and saves it on a removable hard drive. On the display in the cab the driver or operator can choose between watching one camera, at a time or all cameras at the same time in a split picture.

SID Logging System
Sid Logging System is a system to collect, store and analyze vehicle data. The system consists of SID Data Logger and SID Log Analyzer.
The SID Data Logger software is for use on vehicle computers and logs data from the vehicle during its operation. SID Data Logger logs data from the electrical system via a CAN-bus and saves the data to the computers hard drive.
If the fire engine is built on a Scania chassis, the software gets the data from Scanias CAN-system. This means that SID Data Logger logs data from Scanias own sensors and uses the Interactors hard drive for storage of log files. This makes the solution even more reliable and secure. The use of Scanias Interactor also gives the possibility to log the vehicles position and to show actual data on the Interactors display. If there is a need to log some other data it is possible to connect a body control system such as Thorebs Elsy- fire.
All log files are transferred to, and are stored at Thorebs own server in a secure environment with RAID 5 hard disk setup whith a tape backup routine.
Each customer has their own account on the server which means that they can only access and download their own log files. After downloading log files it is possible to analyze data in the SID Log Analyzer software installed on the customers PC. It’s possible to view several types of data at the same time as well as examine all logged data for a specific moment. In addition to this it’s possible to view the vehicle position or route on a map.
