With that publication VA announced the retirement of their HAMP-style program effective on October 1, 2017. The Wells Fargo VA HAMP-style program will no longer be available as of November 11, 2017. The approval of any VA HAMP-style loan modification must occur on or before November 10, 2017. VA replaced the VA HAMP-style program with a new option called VA Affordable Modification. The VA Affordable Modification will be implemented on November 11, 2017.
