Recognition has come to Maharana Mewar Public School in form of The Best Schools Award. The School has also been felicitated for its commendable contribution in the field of Scouting and Guiding. It is our onus to impart knowledge, kindle inspiration and encourage creative thoughts in students for which we put in honest infinite labour.This year, we introduced GESE by Trinity College , London, an English Language Course to encourage learning in school. Kahaani Fest was a grand event brought with the aim of taking learning beyond the classroom and help students freely explore the realm of their imagination and creativity.English, Sanskrit, Social Science and Mathematics Week were celebrated wherein myriad activities were conducted to infuse love for languages and develop capabilities of comprehension and analysis as well.Robotics, Science and Career Counseling Sessions were held to give students impetus to grow.Besides Academics, our students brought laurels to school by winning prizes in Sports, Quizzes, Olympiads and various other fields.This Newsletter gives us fascinating insights into the works in school. Four teams comprising 3 students from different schools were selected in �nal round wherein Team D of Rohit Udaiwal and Team A of Tanmay Maheshwari secured II and III Position respectively.

Namita Lunkad (VIF) was selected as the �nalist.
v 10 teams comprising 2 students each escorted by Ms Shweta Sanganeria (PGT, Commerce) participated in 'RBI Quiz- 2015' organized by Reserve Bank of India at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Auditorium on 14th October, 2015. e team of Siddhi Banthia (XIB) and Ujjwal Soni (XA) was selected in top 6 out of 155 teams. Two Interactive Sessions by Mr Satish Jindal, Chief Manager of Vijaya Bank, City Palace, Udaipur and Mr R.K Nayak from Bank of India were conducted on 12th October, 2015 to guide the students.

v A Storytelling Session by Zee Q Kahaani Express-'India's Premier Inter-School Storytelling Event' powered by Go Cheese was held for classes VI and VII at e Art Block on 14th October, 2015 wherein Radio Jockey (RJ) Himanshu Jain acquainted them with the techniques of developing storytelling and writing to express their imagination and bring out creativity through painting. Best 8 stories were uploaded. Zenab Sabunwala, Kirtan Jain (VIIA), Prarthi R.Laxkar, Jainish Jain (VIID), Shrestha Sharma (VIE), Harsh Chhangani (VIC), Namita Lunkad (VIF) and Arjun Bharadwaj (VID) escorted by Ms Sarika Saxena (TGT, English) participated in City Round at Rotary Bajaj Bhawan, Udaipur on 28th November, 2015 wherein Zenab Sabunwala (VIIA) was selected for narrating a story. Kirtan Jain received Mongini Cake as a Prize in the Quiz Contest conducted by Mongini. 17 schools participated in it.

Workshop by Oxford University Press, India on 3rd October, 2015 wherein she appraised the staff with general classroom principles. A separate session for Department of English was conducted to focus on the functional pedagogical understanding of language and literature in tune with the latest evaluation and testing methods according to the needs of students.
v 60 students from classes VI-XI attended a two day Mobile Robotics Workshop on 16th-17th October, 2015 in e School Library wherein Mr Divyanshu Vaidya and Mr Adarsh Kumar (B.Tech. Electronics and Communication, Embedded Developer Trainer), Resource Persons from New Delhi trained the students in assembling and programming the robots using embedded C Language and guiding the robots using mobile phones.
v e Annual Result for classes VI-VIII was declared on 28th April, class XI on 30th April and class IX on 7th April, 2016.
v Ms Marion Hugues from Chambord accompanied e Arties Concert; a French group of 4 Musicians with their Director, Ms Margaux Williems visited MMPS on 19th March, 2016. e musicians Mr Gautheir Herrmann, Mr Laurent Manuad, Mr Mathieu Herzog and Mr Aude Giuliano presented Classical and Bollywood Music pieces in Music Room. ey were impressed by Musical Ensemble presented by School Orchestra. French Group performed a classical and bollywood music concert on 20th March, 2016 at e Darbar Hall, e City Palace, Udaipur.
v MMPS Orchestra of comprising 35 students and 4 teachers performed at World Cultural Festival held at Delhi conducted by e Art of Living from 11th-13th March, 2016. Students swayed the audience by presenting their musical presentation and witnessed the amalgamation of different cultures and communities embedded in one thread of World Brotherhood and Peace. It broadened the vision of students towards new horizons.

It was held under the patronage of Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur. e key speakers were Dr Mahendra Bhanawat (Writer) and Dr Sahil Choyal (Eminent Artist). Vartika Rathi was selected to participate in an exhibition at Delhi.

v A Career Counselling Seminar was conducted by 'Verve'- e School of Design and Vastu for classes XI-XII. It was held in e School Library from 8th-10th December, 2015 wherein Mr Gaurav Singhvi, an Architect, Interior Designer and Vastu Consultant focused on Life Design Management Science Courses which include courses in Furniture and Interior Designing.

v Lt. Sanjeev Sharma, Naval Officer, on his Bicycle Tour from Mumbai to Delhi visited Maharana Mewar Public on December 18, 2015 and motivated students to Save Fuel and Conserve Environment. He highlighted the importance of Cycling and Swimming for health.
v An Interactive Session on Digital Literacy was held at MMPS on 31st March, 2016 wherein Dr Brij Raj Singh Baghela (HM) briefed the teaching staff about Digital Literacy which was initiative of British Council- Connecting Classrooms.
v Mr Rajkumar along with Mr Tushar Kumar, an illusionist and Magician from Raj Magic Planet, Delhi put up a Magic Show for hostellers and teachers on 14th, 16th and 18th March, 2016. like Sitar, Violin, Flute, Harmonium, Tabla, Scottish Pipes and Classical Dance, Kathak by the Music Department.
v Art and Craft- Experts impart training in Sketching, Painting (Convensational Oil, British Water Colour and Acrylic Colour), Pottery, Clay Modelling, Terracotta Mural, Block and Screen Printing, Tie and Dye and Photography.
v Sports- PTIs train the students in Sports like Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Boxing and Cricket.

v Temple at Moti Mahal has been constructed.

v Four Display Boards have been installed in classrooms.
v Biodegradable Trolly Giant Wheeled Wastebin has been purchased for School Dining.

v Nitishree Bhansali (IX E) participated in Karate Tournament organized by e Zeal Martial Arts and Fitness Point held at Meera Gir l s Sports Academy , Udaipur on 6th-7th February, 2016. She received a Gold Medal in Kumite Fight and S i l v e r i n Ka t a ( Techn ique Presentation) in U-13, 14 yrs Junior Cadet Category .
