What are we going to do?

First of all, we all are here to make your being as funniest as possible.We are going to be together 5 days and we NEED you those days filled with bike and fun.We have choosen 4 days of wonderful routes, we are sure you are going to enjoy at all.Also, we have selected some activities to get some taste of local surrounding when you move your butts from the bike seat.Be welcome

Nice hotel in the middle of the field, close to Los escullos beach (1,5 kms).

Nice views of Mediterranean sea. Just 15 rooms. Old “cortijo” totally refurnished just 6 years ago.

Where is Cabo de Gata?Cabo de Gata is southeast Spain located. Is one of dryest place in Europe. With a semidesert clima, we chose this are because it has best weather in winter. Medium anual temperature is 18-19ºC, with more than 3.000 hours of sun per year, it´s hard to get lower temperatures in winter than 15ºC, so you can take a two layers jacket and of course short pants.It´s around 35 kms far from Almeria, area´s capital. It´s a old volcanic area, so we will find fantastic views, some “karma” and millions of stones. Beaches are amazing with clear and nice temperature water. So, we suggest to bring swimsuit, although it might seem be impossible because the season, you d́ like to bathe in the sea.It´s closest airports are Almería (20 minutes), Murcia (1 hour) and Alicante (2 hours).


DatesThis trip is focus to be during Winter. Our offer start middle of December and finish on March.


Day 1

If you have booked, we can pick you up from airport/train station. Not all the group may come in same flight or airport, so we kindly ask you to arrange picking up schedule.

Then, in evening, we will meet everyone at hotel, we´ll have some small picnic and make formal introducing.

Explaining trip schedule, routes types and relaxing options for evenings.


Day 2

Ready for sun? Bored of grey days of home? Today we are going to take a great view from the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. Just starting from hotel, we will make close to 50 kms, mostly “all mountain” day, really easy day. We´ll go to los Escullos, San José and then going thru “movies beach” Los Genoveses and Mosul will reach Cabo de Gata lighthouse.

Then, we will back thru same way until San José village, where will change our returning track thru Pozo de los Frailes down to los Escullos and Hotel.


Day 3

Today´s route is rockier than yesterday´s. We will start again from hotel and just from the begining we´ll start to go uphill. Nice views from up there of almost complete Natural Park, we will go down thru sendero Amatista, nice enduro track. Then a litlle bit of road up until Punta de la Polacra then a little of Enduro with nice coves close to us. Playazo, Rodalquilar Mines, wide rocky track to Albaricoques and then go down to Presillas Bajas, close to hotel again. I guess we have a nice enduro/all mountain day with close to 40 kms. Ready for tomorrow?


Day 4

Main course today; From Los Escullos to Aguamarga. Enduro 100%.

Bike portage today for sure, it´s only close to 30 km but you will eat stones for a while even when you were back at home. Also nice coves, take your swimsuit ;) incredible views and optional paella at Aguamarga. If bodys are ready, would you like to go back hotel from same track? ;)


Day 5

Lifts days!! Or Relaxing day.

What´s included?

Full broad at El cortijo Hotel in Los Escullos, double room.

Breakfast is at hotel, meal depending of route, could be at hotel or picnic. There is a not included meal (day four) we have an option to have some lunch at Aguamarga (paella).

4 days titulated guide.

Small group (not more than 8 person)

Transport from and to hotel all biking days when it´s necsesary.

Just start on 595€/510 ₤. 5 days accomodation, 4 biking days


Not includedShuttle from and to airport/train station. We can arrange this service, please ask. Because you may come from different airports, flights, we decided make this as an extra.

All the extra expenses at hotel.

All of our prices are calculated on the basis of two people sharing a room. If you don´t want this then we need to charge a single person supplement (ask about this). We will aim to put 2 single people of the same gender into same room.

No bikers, please ask.

Extra activities.

We have bike rental, please ask about it, if you need a bike or don´t want to bring yours.

No insurance, no bike tour!!!


Extra Activities

Cabo de Gata is a really nice and calm area, if you are looking for crazy nights, this is not your place. But just walking here will give you an incredible positive energy, that´s what old vulcano areas makes. It happens to us, that´s why we want to offer this trip.

We can arrange a Kundalini yoga session in the afternoon, we promisse you will be even more tired than with mtb route.

If you need more adrenaline we can rent a quad, horse hiking, boat seeing trip...

Also, we can arrange a trip to Almeria, it´s really close and there are some nice places for tapas. Or maybe you want to visit the old Tabernas Estudios, where many western movies were recorded...The good, the Bad and the Ugly, Fistful of dollars....
