VYACHESLAV GRYAZNOV graduated with honors from the Central Music School of the Moscow State Conservatory where he studied with Professor Manana Kandelaki. He proceeded with undergraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Yuri Slesarev), once again completing his degree with honors. He continued at the Moscow Conservatory as a post-graduate student, and is on the teaching faculty of the Moscow Conservatory’s Piano Department. In 2016 he accepted Yale University’s invitation to fulfill the Artist Diploma program under the Yale School of Music’s Professor Boris Berman.

Vyacheslav  Gryaznov is a member of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, which represents him in Russia, and is an Artist-in-Residence with The Drozdoff Society in the United States.

A prize-winner of international competitions in Italy, Ukraine, Denmark, Georgia, Japan, and Russia (including six first and Grand prizes) and a frequent guest at international festivals, the pianist has toured in many countries of Europe, the CIS, Africa, Japan, the United States, and throughout Russia. His NHK video recordings are shown on Japanese TV on a regular basis. In Russia, the pianist's recordings are often played on Orpheus classical radio.

Gryaznov’s 2016-2017 performances included the Berliner Philharmonie and Carnegie Hall as winner of the 2016 New York Concert Artists Worldwide Debut Audition; the Bay Area Steinway Society of San Jose, California; four performances with the Atlantic Classical Orchestra in a multi-city Florida tour; multiple engagements for The Drozdoff Society’s Impromptu! Classical Music Recital series; as well as engagements in Russia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Austria, and France. He also recorded a CD on the Steinway & Sons label in 2017.

Vyacheslav  Gryaznov is the author of more than 30 concert arrangements and transcriptions and has gained a reputation as one of the most remarkable young arrangers working today. In 2014 Gryaznov signed a publishing contract with Schott Music (Germany).

____________________________________________________ __*The Leschetizky Association celebrates its namesake's Birthday every year at this time with a concert. It seemed fitting, somehow, that the works of Liszt, who like Leschetizky studied with Carl Czerny, should be performed by this great Russian virtuoso who happens to be an Artist in Residence with The Drozdoff Society, whose founder happens to be (a) a distant relative of Carl Czerny, and (b) whose grandfather, Vladimir Drozdoff, studied with both Leschetizky and his second wife, Anna Essipova.
