China (PRC), is a sovereign state located
in East Asia. It is the world's most
populous country, with a population of
over 1.35 billion. And it’s diverse
landscape and ancient culture make it
an attractive country that many people like
to
visit.
AIESEC JLU，founded in 2010, has always been an outstanding local committee in north-eastern China. The past 6 years witnessed its rapid development. We successfully organized many activities, which include Youth Business Forum、Charity Bazaar for the unprivileged people、”Dare to Dream” summer camp for volunteer teaching at primary schools and so on. By providing students in the university with practical leadership opportunities, we concentrate on developing themselves into global leaders with an urge to make a difference to the society. At the meanwhile, we hope to deepen their understanding of foreign culture and strengthen cross-cultural communication.
What is “DARE TO DREAM’? Project Dare to Dream takes the responsibilities of creating helpful hands for all those left-behind youth in rural China and emphasizes on the development and upliftment of the underprivileged children who are lack of dreams. Labeled by their parents working far away from home and unable to provide essential love, these left-behind youths are constantly cut off from the outside world and held back from pursuit for dreams due to financial problems or lack of resources. They need our assistance to fully recognize the infinite possibilities of future and turn their pure zeal to be different into Reality.

Living in Changchun,it’s convenient to go out.Here are some kinds of transportation:Bus(The ticket price is ￥1-￥2):
NO.25 (7th、13th、19thGuilin road stations are busy street.)
NO.6(2nd、5th Chongqing road、10th satations are busy street)
Transportation
Light Rail is a kind of shortcut
transportation.But now,only NO.3 and NO.4 light rail is available.When your destination is close to light rail’s station ,just take it.The ticket price is from￥2 to ￥4.
It’s easy to take a taxi in Changchun, within 2.5km the cost is ￥6 and the excess is 0.5 RMB/km.
Changchun Longjia International Airport is located in the Northeast of Changchun.It’s one of the mondernest airport in China.

Food
Where can you find these delicious food? Guilin Road&Chongqing Road are good choices.There are many restaurants by roadside which are really good at cooking these food and other local snack.
There is lots of delicious food in Changchun and Northeastern dish is the most famous.

About costs There is a simple induction of the possible cost if you choose our project and come to China. In general, during you are in China, all your expenses are at your own, and we won’t ask for extra project cost except the uniformed T-shirt fee.Chinese currency unit is Rimini (RMB), and the exchange rate (as for April 3rd, 2016) :1 USD=6.4776 RMB1 Euro=7.376 RMB
International Postal For a longer duration of stay, we suggest you to have an “F” visa. It’s given to foreigners who are invited to China on an internship. When you go for an “F” visa, you need an invitation letter from the host company, authorized by the Chinese government. We will send the invitation letter to you, pay the postage for you and expect to be repaid when you come to our LC. It’s around 100 until 150 RMB.
International Air ticket It’s at your own expense and depends on different international flights. If there is no direct flight to Changchun, you might need to buy an extra railway ticket to Changchun city. We will pay it for you and expect to be repaid when you come to our LC.
Health Care We will help you to sign a contract with the International SOS Pte Ltd. It will help you get good medical service in China. Detailed description is in a attached file.
Insurance You should cover insurance with the help of your AIESEC LC, at your own expense.
