The D-Link Smart BeamTM technology can differentiate the desired, and undesired signals (interferences) such as 2.4GHz cordless phone, wireless cameras and microwave ovens, and alternatively focus on the conversations at a time.

Extend the coverage The D-Link SmartBeamTM system can automatically optimize its reception

pattern and maximize the signal gain toward to the desired users to reduce the dead spots and extend the link range.

Interference Mitigation The system can select the “best” antenna composition to provide the

service in a specific direction. This minimizes the co-channel interference and improves the SNR (signal-

to-interference ratio) of the received signals effectively by avoiding sending the signals to the undesired users.

Power Efficiency The system combines the inputs to multiple elements for more power gain

and utilize the signal strength to prevent from wasting energy.
