Viborg was a disappointment. Regarding new signings, I was specially dissatisfied withSabine P. and Holly L-M. Cleo didn't show much and Lyks is not a great wing imo.Randers showed some interesting new 3-2-1 defense. Dembele and Aguilar are clearenforcements, but the overall squad seems smaller this season.

I welcome your post with enthusiasm.

Well, Viborg has only had 10 or so trainings together + it was only their third match asa team, all because of the Olympics where they had nine players competing. So as aViborg-supporter yesterdays match is not a worry for me at all.

Then you can say it is the same for Randers - true but their two best players wasDembele and Aguilar, and not because of team-work, but because they are so good asindividual players. Viborg needs to rely more on team work, and that will take sometime to develop.

So patience will be needed. Problem is, that there is only four weeks until the CLqualification tournament, and with Kurtovic gone (bollocks!!!), that may come a bit toosoon for them. Fingers crosses that Bera Bera and Gdynia aren't good enough tocapitalise on that fact. If Viborg does go through to the Group Stage, they have a decentchance of progressing to the main round as well in my opinion.

I think our first line up looks really good Aagaard and Okkels is alot of firepower (VHKwould probertly like her back ) Key will be to to get the team playing together -there are so many new players, and so it will be interesting to see how the level is whenthere are changed out.

in the last 2 training matches, they played up with VHK and ÅDH in the first half but lostin the second - it suggests that the level drops a lot when players from the first line upare replaced but it could also be because the team is not playing together yet.

I hope we do not lose too many points in the first games so we can have a pleasant rideback to the league.

Sounds like in general it was some really poor quality matches yesterday. But I thinkexcept maybe for Odense, FIF took the prize

Their goalkeepers did well (except on throwing the ball up court which was severaltimes a disaster, especially from Mortensen, P did okay) and they shared the time prettyevenly but the attack was a disaster (around 20-25 min into the match they had onlyscored 4 goals) and the defense didn't look too good either. On the other hand, mosttime the mistakes seemed like signs that the team is not played together yet, so it canonly and will probably improve. Besides FIF had some players out, one of themKrogshede.

Praise for Cuadrado and Jette Hansen though. Cuadrados physique is just amazing andFIF defense had a hard time with her. Also Lise Binger with some nice goals there.

HC Odense's trainer talks about FCM apparently have reached a higher level in 6-0defense, than he excepted, thinking of the reconstruction. He also mentions FCM isfurther in development in this start of season, than expected.

He also mentions that Cecilie Greve had a really good match I hope she'll get herleague breakthrough this season!

SK led by 12-7 after the first half - good defense havede given many counter-andsecond wave goals. But substitutions spec. Marte Berger in defense and better play ofSVO meant to SVO came in front 19-20 with 5 minutes left. It would luckily be SVO'slast goal, 2 big saves from Mathilde Juncker won SK important points.

I think mostly the margin in FCM-TTH is surprising. TTH was leading at HT but played atruly horrible second half (and/or great defense by FCM). However TTH also put inyoung players in the end so the difference got even bigger. And they are missingSandra Toft. Her replacement had only 17%.

By the way, Trine Ø was 5/5 and Line J with many assists besides some goals

Tea Mensah Larsen scoring 7 goals yesterday for Roskilde, guess it is the younger sisterof very talented Mads Mensah Larsen former A.G. Handball

Have never heard of here on the youth national teams, can anyone fill me in, is she atalent?

Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

You got me intrigued as well so I searched for her, but it appears it´s based on amistake. According to the webpage of Roskilde handball they do not have a playernamed Mensah, but instead a rightwing from 1992 named Tea Mansa Larsen.. Andbased on her pale skin and blonde hair she is not related to Mads Mensah Larsen Why all the websites such as hbold.dk writes Tea Mensah Larsen is a mystery..?
