Spotlight: Danielle Webb - Retail Level
Danielle Webb, age 25, is a National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and Store Level
Pharmacy Trainer for CVS/Pharmacy in Region 8’s Charlotte-metro market. Webb joined
District 9’s team as a part-time pharmacy service associate in
2005. She earned her national accreditation in Fall 2006. Webb
currently holds licensures with North Carolina’s and Mississippi’s
Board of Pharmacy (BOP).
After status change to full-time CPhT for CVS/Pharmacy, Webb
floated throughout the Charlotte market assisting pharmacies in
their technician needs. She has also facilitated two retail pharmacy
acquisitions in her market, and assisted with the merging of
California retail pharmacy giant Longs Drugs’ data system, which
resulted from that buyout.
Bridging community involvement with her healthcare role, Webb has motivated several
initiatives. Two of these initiatives are in the early implementation stages district-wide; yearly
Medicare review for community seniors and medication accessibility for the local
disabled/disadvantaged population.
Webb added Store Level Pharmacy Trainer to her credentials in 2010. Still working as a full-
time CPhT, she now has the additional responsibilities of cultivating new hires and engraining
them with CVS/Pharmacy’s culture.
Webb has earned a degree in Arts and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting from Central
Piedmont Community College, and is currently finishing her second degree at the University of
North Carolina at Charlotte in Public Relations. She is contracted with the Office of Disability
Services on UNCC’s campus; active in North Carolina’s Deaf community; affiliated with North
Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS); and a member of Autism
Speaks. During personal time, Webb spends it with her son Jayden and assisting her local
community.
