Cutting Instructions

From ASW-9744-193 cut:2 – 12 ½” x 30 ½” pieces

From ASW-9741-193 cut:3 – 12 ½” x 11 ½” pieces

From ASW-9742-193 cut:1 – 12 ½” x 6 ½” piece 1 – 12 ½” x 11 ½” piece

From ASW-9740-193 cut:2 – 27 ½” x width of fabric, joined together to make a strip that is 27 ½” x 81” 2 – 7” x width of fabric, joined together to make a strip that is 7” x 81” 2 – 3” x width of fabric, joined together to make a strip that is 3” x 81” 10 – 3” x 12 ½” pieces

Assembly

This quilt is joined together in 5 vertical rows. Refer to diagram below and piece these rows together.

Appliqué the Dandilion

Prepare your appliqué using the method you most prefer. For more information about appliqué go to www.bluemeadowdesigns.com. Refer to the graphic on page 1 for placement of the dandilion.

Backing

Cut two pieces 3 yds each. Piece them back together horizontally to give you a piece that is approximately 108” x 108”.

Layering Your Quilt

Start by laying out your backing piece wrong side up then the batting followed by the quilt top, right side up. Baste all three layers together using large safety pins or hand basting. Now you are ready to hand or machine quilt. After your top is quilted, trim your quilt and you are ready to add the binding.

Binding

From ASW-9740-193 cut:6 – 2 ½” x width of fabric
