Schedule/Dates and Workshops Available: August 5th – 8-10am - Pre Registration starts for teams and coaches Team check-in for teams is held the entire day (if teams choose to come in on this day.) 10-12am – AACCA Safety Certification Registrations will be taken will be taken up until 12pm for coaches!!! Coaches clinic (12pm – 6pm) Music Editing Training/Injury Prevention Nutritionist Stunting – Basic and Advanced Competition – Competitions in the surrounding states Strength Conditioning The ABC’s to Warm-up, Organize and Run a Class/ Practice History / Style of Dance Forms Costume and Uniform Ordering 6-10pm – Cheer limited, CPR, Certification NCSSE Safety Certification*

*Stunting is just one of our specialties. Basket Tosses will be instructed at this camp. (All types of tosses will be instructed at this camp. They will be instructed the correct way and mats will be available.)

MEDICAL RELEASE In consideration for the opportunity to participate in dance and cheer camp, I voluntarily agree to assume all risks involved in my child’s participation in the dance and cheer camp and all related activities. AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE I am aware that practicing any sport can be a angerous activity involving many risks of injury. I understand that the dangers and risks of practicing in dance and cheer camp include, but are not limited to death, serious neck and spinal injuries that may result in complete or partial paralysis or brain damage, serious injury to virtually all bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons and other aspects of the body.Because of the dangers of participating in a dance and cheer camp, Breaking Pointe Dance Academy and D.R. Cheer coaching staff will employ safe practice procedures to minimize any chance for injury to a participant. I recognize the importance of following the coaching staff’s instructions regarding dance and cheer techniques and training rules. In consideration of Breaking Pointe and D.R. Cheer permitting me to participate in the dance and cheer camp and to engage in all activities related to the team, including practicing, playing and recreational activities. I herby voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to exonerate and save harmless the regents of Breaking Pointe and D.R. Cheer, their agents, employees, athletic staff, the physicians, and other practitioners of medicine treating me from any and all liability, claims, causes of action or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever that may arise by or in connection with my participation in any activities related to the dance and cheer camp. The terms hereof shall serve as a release and assumption of risk for my heirs, estate, executor, administrator, assignees and all members of my family.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY & RISK I release Breaking Pointe and D.R. Cheer, the Regents of BP and D.R. Cheer, any subdivision or unit of BP and D.R. Cheer, its officers, employees and agents of from any and all liability, claims, costs, expenses, injuries and/or losses that I or my child may sustain as a result of my child’s participation in Breaking Pointe and D.R. Cheer’s dance and cheer camp. My child’s participation includes, but is not limited to, travel to and from the camp in a private or public vehicle and any activity connected with the camp themselves, while using state equipment or facilities for the event, whether on or off Breaking Pointe or MSU property. August 5th If you choose to bring in your team on

August 5th, the dorm stay will be covered that evening. However, your camp meals

will not start until the camp officially starts the next day.

There are several eating establishments within walking distance or the MSU

Cafeteria.

Attention Coaches:

If you are attending the coaches clinic and you have already brought your teams. There

will be an extra clinic available for your athletes while you are in your coaches clinic. However, it is highly recommended that you have an assistant or a possible parent helper in charge of your team on that day so you can fully take advantage of the coaches

clinic. (The Cheerfest/Dancefest staff will not be responsible for your team on August 5th.)
