are even HOT in the U.S. The Weeknd won both awards he was nominated for and Light's

Describe Damon Rodgers in one sentence.

-In one sentence? Hmm.. "I'm a weirdo." Hahaha

On one of your Instagram post a long time ago , you said that two

years prior you didn't know if you were going to go to high school

or college because you were a dropout. What’s the story behind

you having to be a dropout?

- That is a great question, but unfortunately, I have a YouTube video

coming out soon about that. So I can't answer that right now!

How did you get to be a student and football player at the Univer-

sity of New Haven?

- Well I'm not actually there yet, but just hard work and a lot of

work when no one is watching.

Now you have a giant following on vine which is where people first

really got to meet you. How did you start getting into the Vine world?

- Well actually it all started with cinemagram.. It's an app from about 3

years ago, I was pretty big on that until vine came out and then I had to

work my way up on there, but most people already knew me from cine-

magram.

How do you determine what to Vine?

- 90% of my funniest vines come when I'm hyper off of starburst or

skittles! Haha.

Who is your favorite Viner that you would love to do a vine with?

- I don't think I have a favorite Viner, but I know Damon Gang

has wanted me to collab with Ronnie Banks for a while now,

and we finally got that done.

What made you want to be a football player and would you

go professional?

- Football is in my blood. Every male in my family played col-

lege football and my brother plays professional now, as well

as my dad coaching professional. So that has a pretty large

impact. But yes, to play professionally is the goal.

What advice would you give young football players that are

finding it hard to maintain sports and school work?

- It's just hard work. Very hard work. You might miss a couple

of parties or whatever from having to juggle both and contin-

ue to keep up with your school work, but it's all worth it.

How crazy was it the first time someone came up to you for a picture or auto-

graph?

- Man. I didn't even know what to say. At first I thought ".... Why?" Because I didn't

have many followers at the time, so it was a little weird. After a while I got used to it

though, and now I love it. I love interacting with the people that support me and ask-

ing them questions and making them smile in person. It makes my day.

Have you gotten use to it yet?

- It took a while, but yes I have.

Now I follow you on Instagram and I see how crazy these girl’s go for your pictures.

How do you react to girls commenting about your looks?

- Some of them are actually really funny haha. I will comment back sometimes, but

it's hard because then someone else might be upset because I didn't respond to

theirs, so I try not to, but sometimes I can't help it.

- I didn't know any of them were mandatory... hahaha! No but I am single.

Have you ever had any crazy fan moments since you have been so popular?

- hmmmm I've had my butt grabbed.. That's about the craziest it's gotten lmao

What other things do you like to do other than Football and Vines?

- I am the king of NBA 2k.. Haha and I love to eat candy.

In many of your vines , we see how great of a relationship you have with your

mom. How much of an inspiration has she been in your success?

-She loves what I do and she supports me to the fullest as well as my dad. But my

dad would rather not be put on camera lol.

Since people know so little about you , what is something that you think people

should know about Damon Rodgers?

- I think by now they know a good amount, but ummm I have a birth mark on my in-

ner thigh shaped like a super hero lmao.

Now a question a lot of people wanna know. Where do you shop? You have one of

the best wardrobes for a guy I've seen.

- Thank you lol, usually urban outfitters or jack threads. But some of the stuff I really

like is sent by up and coming clothing lines.
