The nonprofit group trying to sparehistoric Greystone Park PsychiatricHospital from the wrecking ball —which could arrive as early as April 6 —is hoping a judge might step up whereother New Jersey officials have not.

“So we’re taking this thing to court,”Preserve Greystone President JohnHuebner said at what might have beenits final annual meeting Wednesday atthe Morris County Public Library. “It’sunfortunate that it’s come to this, but wefeel like we have no choice. The state’sdemolition plan for Greystone is a disas-ter for taxpayers, and they are trying toshove it forward in violation of bothstate and federal laws.”

Lawn care program offered at Rockaway Twp. library

ROCKAWAY TWP. — The RockawayTownship Public Library will present“Garden State of Mind: ABC’s of LawnCare” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday atthe library, located at 61 Mount HopeRoad.

Rutgers University Master Garden-er Brian James Monaghan will teach thebasics of lawn care and the correctmethod of lawn renovation.
