DAILY MORNING PRAYER: RITE TWO A Recognition of Faithful Service Officiant Friends in Christ, we are all baptized by the one Spirit into one Body, and given gifts for a variety of ministries for the common good. Jane Ruppe Keihn was called to the ministry of leading the St. Francis Creche School and she has faithfully finished her course in that calling. People Praise be to God, who called you to this service and guided you through its completion. Officiant Let us pray. Silence

We thank you for looking with favor upon those whom you have called, O God, and grant that they were so filled with your Holy Spirit, that their ministry reflected your love in the world; through Jesus Christ our Savior. A Blessing of a New Calling Almighty God our heavenly Father, you declare your glory and show forth your handiwork in the heavens and in the earth: Deliver us in our various occupations from the service of self alone, that we may do the work you give us to do in truth and beauty and for the common good, and we ask that in your love you sustain Jane in her new work, inspired by your Spirit; for the sake of him who came among us as one who serves, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
