mercial benches in select high courts to settlehigh value commercial disputes, with theGovernment saying the measure is aimed at pro-viding "speedy and time-bound disposal" of casesnecessary for accelerating the economic growth.

The Commercial Courts, CommercialDivision and Commercial Appellate Division of

High Courts Bill, 2015 was passed by voice votein the absence of Congress party which was boy-cotting the House over some actions byArunachal Pradesh Governor.

Replying to the discussion on the Bill, LawMinister D V Sadananda Gowda said the Bill hasbeen brought with the intention of acceleratingeconomic growth and improving the internationalimage of India's justice delivery system.(PTI)
