World Youth Skills Day: 15 Julyविश्व युिा कौशल वििस: 15 जुलाई

● On July 15 every year, World Youth Skills

Day is marked to promote youth skills

development and abilities.

● In 2019, UNESCO and the UNEVOC

network will join the global celebrations to

mark the day and also to raise awareness

about the importance of youth skills

development.

● Also, TikTok and National Skill Development

Corporation have collaborated to celebrate

the day this year by launching an in-app

campaign ‘Skills4All’.

● This year, the theme for World Youth Skills

Day 2019 is ‘Learning to learn for life and

work’.

● हर साल 15 जुलाई को युिा कौशल विकास और

क्षमताओं को बढािा िेने के वलए विश्व युिा कौशल

वििस को विवित वकया जाता है।

● 2019 में, यूनेस्को और UNEVOC नेटिकक इस

विन को विवित करने के वलए िैवश्वक समारोहों में

शावमल होगें और युिा कौशल विकास के महत्व के

● The Union Government has launched

“LaQshya” (Labour room Quality improvement

Initiative) to improve the quality of care in the

labour room and maternity operation theatres.

● It’s a multipronged approach focused on

Intrapartum and the immediate postpartum

period.

● The initiative primarily focuses on reducing

preventable maternal and newborn mortality

and morbidity due to haemorrhage, retained

placenta, preterm, preeclampsia and

eclampsia, obstructed labour, puerperal

sepsis, newborn asphyxia, and newborn

sepsis.

● कें द्र सरकार ने लेबर रूम और मातृत्व

ऑपरेशन विएटरों में िेखभाल की गुणित्ता में

सुधार के वलए "LaQshya" (Labour room

Quality improvement Initiative) शुरू

IFFI's Golden Jubilee Edition to be held from Nov 20 till 28 in Goa

Film Festival of India, IFFI will be held from

20th Nov till 28th November 2019 in Panaji,

● The business exhibition will showcase the

latest technology, film production and

● To mark the 150th birth anniversary of

Mahatma Gandhi, a separate exhibition will

be held.

● President of Oscar Academy John Bailey

and other eminent cinematographers and

producers have been invited for the event.

● Russia will be IFFI partner in this edition.
