STUDENTS OUT OF CLASS MUST HAVE AN APPROPRIATE STUDENTS OUT OF CLASS MUST HAVE AN APPROPRIATE PASS OR FLAG. PASS OR FLAG.
•Students without an appropriate pass or flag will be issued a truancy ticket.
• A truancy ticket gives students two hours of detention.
•A truancy ticket is given even if students say their teacher gave them verbal permission, as supervision staff have no way to verify whether it’s true or not.
•If this has happened to one of your students and you would like to take responsibility for allowing them to leave the classroom without an appropriate pass, please let one of the Deans know and they will clear the detentions.
•Please add this important school procedure to your sub plans when you are out.
•If you need a new flag, as always, please let Mrs. Brewer or Mr. Johnes know.
