TFC predicts solid recovery TOURISM Australiarsquos TourismForecasting Committee (TFC) saysit expects 2010 will bring with it aturn-around in the number ofpeople travelling domesticallyand internationally In its latest outlook releasedyesterday the TFC is predictingthat overseas arrivals will rise byaround 43 to 58 million on theback of firm growth from the USand Chinese markets Thatrsquos a sharp about-face to theforecast made in Dec last yearwhen the TFC suggested overseasarrivals would stoop by 4 The TFC is also hopeful thatdomestic tourism numbers willimprove with close to a 3 growth(or 65m) estimated for 2010 up
