Brand, Logo & Tagline
The fifties back in ten outfits. �
The logo shows a typical logo format of the 50´s, showing popular colours like red, blue, white, and the famous black and white squared background. It is circle shaped since this shape evokes familiarity and security. The font used is also a very popular one from the 50´s, and a legible one as well. On the centre, the name of the brand “Daddy-‐O” can be seen, represenLng the O with a vinyl disc, which were very famous on this Lme. On the boVom, it is specified that its a collecLon launched by Chico´s. The tagline 50´s on 10 symbolizes that the fidies are back in ten ouFits.
Target Customer My target customer is a male between 52-‐64 years, part of the Baby Boomer generaLon, which is a very important target market that hasn't been considered with the importance it deserves. My customer is a male that doesn't want to be seen as old and out of fashion, but on the contrary wants to keep looking good and show his own style on clothes that are confortable for him and with moderate prices, since it has a middle-‐upper middle income. Its lifestyle is casual and their kids are economically independent, leaving them more freedom to spend on themselves. The psychographic type of my customer is “The Resigned”, since they have unchangeable values and the nostalgia of the past, which will make this collecLon successful since we are offering 50´s products, transporLng them to those Lmes that will evoke good memories and create a safety and familiar feeling. Also, they can be considered as “Reformers”, since they don’t want to be told what to do or think, they don’t want to feel old or to be offered “old people products” they want useful products adapted for them in order to keep them fashionable and with style, since this cohort appreciates a lot when their independence is valued.
