1 Introduction

The PLANTCockpit project strives to enhance the competitiveness of European Industry by increasing its efficiency and profitability while maintaining optimal environmental protection. Throughout the lifecycle of the project, Work Package 11 focuses on standardization, exploitation and dissemination of the project results.

To address scientific and industrial communities, it is obvious that this audience needs to be informed on a regular basis. This is done by offering downloadable documents like a project overview presentation summarizing projects results and final fact sheet, along with other document made available for the broad audience including Project Poster, PLANTCockpit Brochure on Use Cases and public deliverables and technical reports). These downloads can then be pointed to whenever people from the industrial or the scientific community meet.

In the final project period, the slide show has been enriched by additional details of used technologies, a completed description of the PLANTCockpit prototypes, and a description of the major results in regard to the technology, the benefits, and dissemination and exploitation. In the PLANTCockpit fact sheet, the achievement section has been finalized.

The changes to the web page such as the update of the publications, demonstrators or additional downloads are described in Deliverable 11.1.6.

2 Approach

The aforementioned documents have been written by the dedicated partners. The draft of the document is reviewed by the appointed partners as well as the marketing department of the project coordinator SAP.

This version gives an overview of the motivation and challenges for PLANTCockpit. Moreover, we explain our approach and line out the idea and concept. In doing this, we give the interested audience the opportunity to understand the content and where PLANTCockpit is positioned.

This document presents the final achievements and the final results of the prototypes.

3 Results

The slide show and the fact sheet are available on the PLANTCockpit web page (http://www.plantcockpit.eu - Downloads).
