    After completing this course, you will be able to:

    Recognize Symmetrix DMX and 8000 Seriescomponents and describe their function.

    Identify power system components.

    Use Inlines commands to identify Symmetrix Health status

    Configuration information

    Volume condition and protection type

    Describe volume protection and interaction

    Describe how SRDF works

    This training will focus on the Symmetrix DMX and Symmetrix 8000 Series. It is a remote ILT and will focus on

    components description and functionality, power systems, data protection concepts, Inlines commands, configuration

    definitions and Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF) concepts. Modules will be covered by an Instructor with the

    exception of Impact modules which will be self study.
