Jesus Christ his only Son, our LORD; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, bornof the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, andburied; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; heascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the HolyGhost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins;the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Offertory Anthem:Kayron Lee Scott(b.1950) is aninternationally knownteacher, musician, conductor andcomposer of sacredmusic, choral music andhymns, residing inBirmingham, Alabama. He is widely recognized as one of America'sforemost composers ofmusic for the church.

Processional Hymn:Two great truths informthis text: first, that thetestimony of experienceis powerful andpersuasive; and second, that no one shouldventure to minister onone’s own strengthrather than God’s. Thetune reflects a19th-century practice ofadapting piano piecesas hymn tunes.

Organ Voluntary: CraigSellar Lang (1891-1971)was a New Zealand-born British organist, composer andprofessor of music. Hewas educated at CliftonCollege, and the RoyalCollege of Music, andThe University ofDurham, studying withWalter Parratt andCharles V. Stanford.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and THE LORD’S PRAYEROur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy

will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; andforgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, butdeliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

PRESENTATION OF TITHES AND OFFERINGS

ANTHEM Who at My Door is Standing? English folk tuneChancel Choir arranged, K. Lee Scott

Who at my door is standing, there patiently drawing near, Who entrance is demanding? Whoseis the voice I hear? Sweetly the tones are falling: “Now, open the door for Me! If thou wilt heedMy calling, I will abide with thee.” Within, the rooms are darkened, all filled with dust and sin. How shameful, how unworthy for Christ to enter in. Yet the tones are falling: “Now open thedoor for Me! If thou wilt heed My calling, I will abide with thee.” Door of my heart, I hasten! Thee will I open wide. Though He rebuke and chasten, He shall with me abide. Yet the tonesare falling: “Now open the door for Me!” LORD God, I hear Thee calling, Come now, abide withme.
