It is a challenging life changingadventure for young people that
started in 1956.It inspires, guides, supports
and recognizes theirself development and
achievements.
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
In this program, they would be able todo their individually chosen exciting
and challenging programme ofactivities to help them
reach their full potential.They’ll learn new skills, help others,
have fun, make new friends andgain a great sense of achievement.
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
3 levels of achievements:
GOLDSILVERBRONZE
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
The bronze which is the first takes amaximum period of 6 months.
The Silver which is the second takes6 months and 12 for direct entrants
The Gold which is the last biggest takes12 months and 18 for direct entrants
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
Minimum entry age:
14 for Bronze15 for Silver
16 for Gold
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
Students complete personalprograms of activities in four
sections and five ifthey are going for Gold
DAY WATERMAN COLLEGE
They will need to:
Get fitter
Develop some personalskills at something
Go on an expedition/adventure
Partake in a residential activity (Gold only)
Help people or the community**

At the end of the scheme,achievers will be celebrated
and certificates awardedby our principal who is a
Certified Assessor

As it stands at DWC,we will be starting with the Bronze
and we expect Years 9 and 10students to participate
