Delta is Markant's most versatile furniture programme. It entails sober, no-frills design

The unique click mechanism in the base underlines the Delta's innovative character.

One press with the foot is all it takes to set the desired height for working. For the Delta,

Markant has mustered all the knowledge and experience acquired during previous

furniture programmes.

The culmination of this process is a design that distinguishes itself through efficient use

of materials, an ingenious click mechanism and an eye for detail.

Delta was designed in line with the modular concept of Markant System Architecture

(MSA), which means that the components from different programmes are mutually

interchangeable.

Delta has been designed in such a way that a wide variety of workstations and

meetingtables can be assembled using a very small number of components.

As a result of this, Markant is putting highly price-conscious furniture to market,

furniture that uses raw materials in a sustainable manner. A furniture programme in

which adjustable, adaptable and sitting/standing versions cover the full ergonomic

spectrum. The mechanisms are all available with both T and C leg. Delta's line-work

has deliberately been kept sober. This way the Delta fits in with its environment like a

chameleon, thereby rendering it suitable for use in any type of organization.

As standard, the height of the Delta can be adjusted from 62 to 85 cm using the unique

click mechanism and optionally can be provided fully adjustable with a handle-operated

coil mechanism or an electric motor with touch control operation. The adjustable height

is also available from 61 to 76 cm according to the Australian standard. Markant is one

of the few furniture manufacturers to also have developed a sitting/standing version

in the same line as the standard workstations. Naturally Delta satisfies NEN and EN

standards (NEN 2449: 2006 NL and NEN EN 527).

Delta has been tested and approved by TNO in accordance with these standards.

m a i n t e n a n c e a r mThe Delta programme is low-maintenance. Due to its perfect finish and neat design,

Delta is easy to clean. The height-adjustment mechanisms are also low-maintenance.

The high quality is underlined by the fact that we offer a standard warranty term of

seven years (can be conditionally extended to 10 years).

m S aMSA stands for ‘Markant System Architecture’, which means that the desk furniture

range has been based on one system concept. During Delta's development, we looked

at how existing MSA components could be used. Consequently, Delta fits in seamlessly

with previous programmes, rendering them interchangeable. Thus it is possible to

upgrade the office or adapt it to new circumstances without considerable expense.

S u S t a i n a B L eDue to the separate components and use of monomaterials, components can be reused

in new configurations or simply recycled. By means of the 'Markant Life Cycle Service',

we see to it that the workstations are re-used or disposed of in a sustainable manner at

the end of their term of use.

f a c i L i t YThe Delta programme can be installed with minimum effort, set up easily and assembled

quickly. Adjusting the height for working for the user is especially straightforward,

and is done using the unique click mechanism at the base. In this way the height can be

adjusted without the use of tools.

L e g V a r i e t i e SThe Delta tables are available with a C or T leg. Within an interconnected desk

configuration, intermediate legs provide extra stability without getting in the way.

There is a column leg without pedestal and an intermediate leg with a small pedestal.

The column legs can be interlinked, creating the Delta combidesk, in which one frame

produces two desktops.

i n D i V i D u a LIndividuality is about more than just the capacity to adjust the height of the worktop.

The many options when it comes to Delta finishes enable us to satisfy both corporate

wishes and requirements and those of the employee.

Handy accessories such as organization panels, electricity modules and flat-screen arms

ensure that the workstation can be fine-tuned perfectly to the user.

Sitting/standing workstations are generally only purchased for employees who work very

intensively with computers or who have back, neck and shoulder problems.

However, the sitting/standing workstation should be used more often. A preventive

effort for all employees will lead to a sizeable reduction in the incidence of absence

due to back, neck and shoulder problems. Moreover, varying work between sitting and

standing positions will contribute to an improved dynamic in the workplace, which

results in employees concentrating more and working in a more productive manner.

And so investment in a sitting/standing workstation easily pays for itself!

D e Lt a c o m B i D e S kForming part of the Delta family, the Combidesk combines very well indeed with the standard workstations. Due to the combination of two

workstations on one frame, fewer components are required - the overall solution is thus greater than the sum of its parts.

Cable baskets or sealable cable conduits can be mounted on both sides of the transverse beam, which links the workstations together.

This allows the cables to be neatly tucked away, and one workstation can be integrally connected up to the other.

c a m o u f L a g e h e i g h t D i f f e r e n c eThe workstations are screened off from one another by means of a partition. This not only encourages employees concentration but also

provides a calmer office setting. The partition walls camouflage the difference in height between the worktops, when the desks are set up

according to the height of the users.

o S a k aThe Osaka is a clamp with which the partition walls from Markant can be affixed straight onto the Delta. This results in all partition walls in the

office being the same height, independently of the height of the tables. The hovering effect of the partition walls make the space easy to clean,

and allow air to continue circulating unimpeded. This results in the air conditioning system consuming considerably less energy.

D e Lt a S Y n c h r o e L e k t r oThe height of this support unit is fully adjustable with the aid of an electric motor. The height can be read on the display on the front of the desktop

edge. This gives the set height and allows four settings to be programmed into the memory. In line with NEN 2449: 2006 NL and NEN EN 527,

it can be adjusted from 62 to 85 cm. Delta Synchro Elektro comes in a C and T version.

D e Lt a S Y n c h r o m a n u a LThe height of this support unit is fully adjustable with the aid of a coil mechanism operated by a handle.

The handle is located on the side or front of the workstation. In line with NEN 2449: 2006 NL, it can be adjusted from 62 to 85 cm

(also available from 61 to 76 cm according to the Australian Standard). The 'Delta HV Manual' leg comes in a C and T version.

D e Lt a c L i c kDelta satisfies the standard NEN2449: 2006 NL and is adjustable in a range from 62 to 85cm. The set-up can be modified by the user by pulling

the desktop up whilst applying counterpressure to the base of the Delta leg. With the aid of the unique foot-click on the leg, the worktop can be

lowered. The set desktop height can be read on the leg. The 'Delta Click' leg comes in C and T versions.

S i t t i n g / S t a n D i n gThis support unit is fully adjustable with the aid of an electric motor. The height can be read on the display on the front of the desktop edge.

This gives the set height and allows three settings to be programmed into the memory. In line with NEN 2449:2006 NL and NEN EN 527,

it can be adjusted from 62 to 128 cm. Delta Sitting/Standing comes in a C and T version.

D e Lt a m e e t i n g S e t - u P SWith Delta, any meeting set-up can be built. Based on the number of seats and the (desired) shape, a frame is assembled with as few legs as

possible. The column legs and legs on a small pedestal guarantee sufficient legroom and prevent legs from getting in the way.

f r a m eA Delta workstation is fitted with a steel frame as standard. The frame can optionally be provided in aluminium. When putting together new desktop

set-ups in a changing office layout, the aluminium frame components can be incorporated into the new set-up more flexibly. In addition,

wan aluminium frame provides the workstation with more stability.

w o r k t o P SThe desktops are available in melamine on chipboard, in HPL post-form or compact sheet.

The extensive selection of Markant desk finishes provide Delta with the desired appearance. The worktops are available in many shapes and sizes and

can be ordered to customer specifications.

neutral colours. All metals and aluminium components are powder-coated and guarantee sustainable protection.
