PrinciPal’s DeskWe welcome all our readers to the fresh start of 2019.

January – the beginning of anything we want to achieve, began with

a vibrant note. Pongal as always brings out the essence of our

tradition, marks a new beginning and thanks giving to the Sun God. Our children and

teachers were dressed in traditional wear; it was a joyful sight to see them run around with

joy. We prepared sweet Pongal, the sweet was shared to everyone after a formal thanks

giving to the Sun God. Children entertained us with dance events and skits.

The tiny tots of class I enacted the life history of Andal and her devotion for Ranganathar. It

was a scintillating performance which would remain fresh with us forever.

The Republic day was celebrated on 26th January at our school premises as a mark of

remembrance and respect for the freedom fighters. The Republic day reminded us that

everyone should contribute our bit for the development of the nation and spread peace, love

and harmony.

Only dreams give birth to change. As a school we hold the responsibility of shaping and

guiding our children to grow in the right path and to pursue their dream. A career guidance

workshop was conducted on 26th January, for the children of classes IX to XII followed by

the Republic day celebrations. Parents were invited to be a part of the workshop. The

workshop was conducted by Mr. Ramanujan from Edu Sarathy. He gave us an insight about

the courses offered by various reputed colleges in India and overseas. The scope of the

course was discussed. Parents and the children enquired about various courses. It was a

fruitful workshop given at the right time.

We march forward carrying all the memories we have created this month.
