Hey Key Clubbers! School is back is session, and so are Key
Club meetings! We have our very first meeting on September11th at 6:50 and 2:45 in the teaching theatre, and I cant wait to
see all of yall and talk about yalls summers. Well talk about all
the events going on next month and especially about Fall Rally.
Everyone should go to that, because not only is it Key Club, but
its awesome rollercoasters too! In other news, Vivian Young andAmy Jiang got published in the Tex-O-Key last month, so that is
super awesome and if yall see them, you should congratulate
them!
Finally, yall mightve taken the summer off of volunteering,
but dont worry about getting your hours in, because we have
tons and tons of fun events for yall! Keep going to events and
meetings and youll get those hours done in no time!
Yours in (fierce) Service,
Hannah Norem

Dear Key Clubbers,
Happy September! I have had such a
wonderful time seeing the Cy-Falls Key
Clubbers during the first week of school and it
was amazing listening to all yalls summer
stories. As school starts, Key Club also
becomes busier as there are more events
and meetings to attend. For the month of
September, we have our annual Shop Til You
Drop events. These take place at the BerryCenter where vendors set up shop, they
need volunteers to help set up and clean up.
This was my first event as a freshman and is
still one of my favorites. Also, there are a
couple events for the Houston Public Library
should be very fun. At the events, you will be
sorting books and working in the warehouse.
We always have Grace Care events and thismonth is no different with a couple events
right across the street. Our first meeting will be
September 11th so please plan to attend!
Yours in Loving Service,
Amy Jiang

Every year in Key Club, the Governor of the Texas-Oklahoma District
focuses his time and energy on one particular issue. This issue iscalled the Governors Project. This year, our Governor, Luke
Broussard, has chosen bullying as his focus issue for his Governors
Project: Kickn Bullyn to the Curb.
Since we were young, weve been told that bullying is bad. But yet,
thousands upon thousands still claim theyre bullied every year. Why
is that? Are they lying? Are they crazy? NO. Bullying is a very real and
present problem in schools today, and no one is exempt from this.
Everyone is affected by bullying in some shape or fashion, and thatsan unavoidable fact of life.
What can we do about this? Well, stop being a bystander and tell
someone, and participate in anti-bullying activities. Together, we can
