NHS_ID NHS ID

SERVICE_ALLOCATED_PATIENT_ID Locally service assigned patient ID, used if and only if NHS number is not available. Assumed to be unique at local level but not across global dataset.

SERVICE_ID Service identifier, e.g., a trust or specific service

DOB The date on which a PERSON was born or is officially deemed to have been born.
