Ember Days“Ember Days” refer to four separate sets of 3days within the same week (Wednesday,Friday and Saturday), each set being withinone of the 4 seasons of the year. Traditionallythey are observed in the weeks before theThird Sunday of Advent, the Second Sunday ofLent, after Pentecost and the third (liturgical)week in September.On these days we particularly pray forvocations, and for those who serve the churchin different ministries.In our Cycle of Prayer this month we will prayon the Ember Days for those currently trainingfor ministry within Teulu Asaph.
