Real Estate and Property Management

TTC is an authorized provider for the pre-license course for real estate and property management. Please check SC’s state requirements at www.llronline.com. Any person wishing to take the SC Real Estate Licensing exam must now pay for and pass a criminal background check BEFORE taking the exam. This form can be downloaded from the SCREC website at http://llr.sc.gov/recheck. Students must pass the background check before taking the state exam.

Property Management To obtain a property management license, the applicant must be at least 18 years old and agree to the submission of a satisfactory credit report, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, complete all 32 hours of the course, pass the property management examination, and apply for a property managerlicensewithinoneyear.ThiscoursefulfillstheSouthCarolina Real Estate Commission’s requirements for the property management license exam. The fundamentals of property management and applicable state laws are covered. Note: The SC Labor and Licensing Board requires students, by law, to complete the entire Property Management course. You must successfully complete the course to be eligible for the exam. Books not included

Real Estate Level 1 n To obtain a real estate license, the applicant must be at least 18 years old and agree to the submission of a satisfactory credit report; have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; provide proof of completion of 60 hours of pre-license education from an authorized school and the Real Estate – Advanced Principles course; pass the state written examination; submit an application for licensure along with the appropriate fees; and be associated with a broker-in-charge. Motorcycle Safety

Motorcycle Basic Rider (BRC)This course is intended for the novice rider interested in properly learning the fundamental skills to safely operate a motorcycle. Riders who are returning from an extended absence from motorcycling are also encouraged to attend this course. The course meets SC law for allowing the motorcyclist to qualify for an insurance discount; please contact your insurance company to verify eligibility. Students mustcompleteanonlinee-course(includedinthecoursefee)and,laterintheclass,aridingassessmenttoreceivetheMotorcycleSafetyFoundation(MSF)card.Afteryouregister,a separate email is sent to you within seven days of the class start containing the link and a personal code to enter. Once you have completed the e-course, print a hard copy of the completioncertificateandpresentittotheridercoachesteaching the classroom portion of your class on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. Practical application riding is on Satuday and Sundayfrom8a.m.-4:30p.m.;classridingtimemayvaryduetoweather conditions and level of enrollment. Training bikes and helmets are provided; however, riders with some experience may bring their street legal, registered and insured personal bikes for use in the course. For those seeking a motorcycle license endorsement road test waiver, you must currently possess a valid SC state-issued driver’s license.
