• Bullies sometimes have problems of their own that they are trying to cover up

• They are scared of not being popular or the ‘tough guy’

• They think aggression is a good way of solving problems. It is NOT!

• They do it for fun, to get a laugh

• They are jealous of the victim

• Bullies usually lose their friends when people realise what they are doing

• Tell someone - The most important thing to remember if you are being bullied is to tell somebody about it such as the teacher, your parents or a friend that you trust.

What should you do if you are being bullied?

• You should not let the bully carry on bullying. The longer you leave it, the worse it will become.
