DB9The highest tech, lightest, greenest board in our line just got more high tech, lighter and greener. We start with a 5 lb/ft3 density PVC foam. Insert a 3.5” wide poplar wood stringer from tip to tail. The wood helps bond the top to the bottom and provides a consistent flex. The top shell incorporates bamboo to add strength and reduce weight. This unique process is the lightest and strongest on the market. The DB9 shape is clean and fast. The flat bottom design features a huge center spine that runs tip to tail which softens landings. The beveled edge rail adds strength and allows a smooth edge change. Four aluminum fins are bolted to the continuous rocker shape for the perfect amount of grip. Josh Twelker lights the world on fire with the DB9. MARIUSThe Marius is the best board I have ever ridden. We worked hard to make changes that would keep the overall ride characteristics while increasing the speed. We also wanted the board to be capable of the highest level of boat riding but also good for rail riding. The changes made are what I consider to be the perfect board. The Marius has low drag while riding flat and is fast edge to edge. It holds edge up off the wake which results in more pop. The dual center spine and continuous rocker aid in super soft landings. For cable riding you can remove the aluminum fin. The beveled edge rail makes the board more durable as the board edge does not come in contact with rail. The versatility of the Marius is unprecedented. I use it behind the boat, at the cable, winching and on rails. We worked hard to make a shape riders would enjoy and progress their riding to the next level.We succeeded.

TRANSCENDThe Transcend was designed with input from riders of all ability levels. I wanted a high-end board that would work for a broad range of riders. Every design detail on the Transcend is there for function and ultimately control. We focused on control in the edging, speed, huge pop and soft landings. The traction comes from the 4 fin set up with the ability to still release at the top of the wake. The bolt-on aluminum extensions let the rider dial in the exact bite they are looking for. The speed of the board stays with you, not taking off in front of you or lagging behind. The pop of the Transcend is unique in that it’s a subtle 3-stage board. The pop is generated under your back leg and up through your center of gravity. That is a fancy way of saying it has a ton of pop. Extending the center spine from tip to tail softens up the landings, while being subtle enough not to affect the board transition edge to edge. The end product of so much testing is a board that works well for the most advanced riders but still works for someone learning their first wake jump. The graphics are unreal for 2012. I don’t know if I should ride it or hang it on the wall. Okay, I am leaning more towards riding it!

The CWB boot line for 2012 is the lightest, most innovative and patent packed line we have ever created. Our designs and features are commonplace in the wake industry. We were the first to develop the now industry standard 6” plate patten. Bolting a boot to a board 2” closer than old designs made for a tighter boot-to-board marriage. We then invented Hinge Tech and patented it (#7,134,928). There are only two kinds of boots in the wake industry, Hinge and non-Hinge, we are the only brand that has both!
