We want everyone to live in a healthy world with green nature. Trees are very important for our health in order to reduce heat and to improve air quality and to filter harmful dust. CVT Myanmar understands trees play a vital role in our country and community. Thus, CVT Myanmar invited the agriculturist Dr. Than Than Sein from the Institute of Environment, Re-sources and Development Organization to give a speech about environmental issues to all CVT apprentices on 18th July 2019. CVT Myanmar invited the Parliament Member of Thingangyun, U Nay Phone Latt, agriculturists and guests, donors of the plants and trees, staff, teachers and apprentices from CVT Myanmar. A total of 300 people participated in this cere-mony and at least 250 shady trees and flowering plants were planted. The management team of CVT Myanmar would like to thank everybody who took part in this event.

Batch 19 of the Entrepreneurship Course with over 20 candidates started at the new school of CVT Myanmar on 6th July 2019. In this course, candidates learn essential management and business skills enabling them to successfully lead an SME or to start their own business. The course instructors are experienced local and internation-al teachers as well as successful business people. A major aim of this course is to generate young Myanmar entrepreneurs who can also work internationally.

Our factory has sent apprentices to CVT Myanmar every year. We see many benefits not only for the factory but also for the apprentices. After finishing the training, their skills and ideas are better than before the training. They follow the rules and work more disciplined than before and they are more aware of and understand safety issues in the workplace as well. In addition, they are very good at social communication and have a leadership mind-set. Because of those things, we are confident to appoint various tasks to them and we will continue to send apprentices to CVT in the future and we thank CVT Myanmar.

My name is Mg Aung Zaw Nyunt; I am attending the metal worker course Batch 14. I am very pleased to attend this course. With a certificate from CVT, I no longer have to think about going abroad for work. A certificate is important to find a job but the more important thing is to under-stand the nature of your work and to know what you have to do. Before I attended CVT Myanmar, I was working as a trainee under the supervision of a mechanical engineer and I could only learn practical but no theoretical skills there. Before joining CVT Myanmar, I couldn’t read the drawing samples I received from customers. Now after attending CVT, I can clearly understand those draw-ings. I am very satisfied because we do not only get vocational skills but also learn about safety and many other things. Actually, CVT is not only preparing us to be skillful workers but also teaches us how to handle problems which we are facing in our daily lives, how to be a better follower and a good leader. If we want to start a business, we learn how to develop a strategic plan for the business we want to start. If we want to produce a new product, we learn what to consider and to do first and how to improve our personal skills, like how to behave in society and the community and so on. Therefore, I am very pleased and thank all the teachers from CVT and CVT Myanmar. Aung Zaw Nyunt
