The structure uses prefabricated elements in order to make the construction easier and therefore cheaper and also because it allows a larger span.The cross-based pilar makes the union of the elements as rigid as possible, guaran-teeing monolitism on the whole structure.The division of the spaces are made of prefabricated concrete panels.For the rooms and in order to filter the light according to the guest’s choice, flexible vertical shelters are used.

The project is based on two principles: the structure as a space generator and the patio as a classic element which dialogues with the Casa dil Fascio and as a central space around which the building lives. It combines the terms of transparency and monolitism
The use of ceramic tiles in this project play an es-sential role since they make the roof a unitary ele-ment. On the outside, the tiles are put together the traditional way (one above the other). On the inside, the same kind of tiles are hang from their borders, leaving the timber structure visible.

Ruins are a fragile element that need protection from exterior actions in order to be able to investigate and learn from them. Starting from that premise, the pro-ject consists on a double roof that, on the outside, covers the intervention and, on the inside, dialogues with the visitor emulating the houses that were there once before.The materials used for this roofs are ceramic for exterior and interior coverture and a timber structure as a metaphor to the materials that were used on those traditional houses.
The project searchs for a direct relationship with the park in front of the block and a better use of the sun hours since its orientation is south-west. By those breaks on the façade there is a wider surface of façade and a better sun use.

LOS LIMITES DEL NUEVO LANDABEN SON DOS "L" CONFORMADAS, EN ELMARCO INFERIOR DERECHO POR EL RIO, Y EN EL SUPERIOR IZQUIERDO,POR LOS EDIFICIOS INDUSTRIALES MANTENIDOS. DELIMITADOS EN ELMARCO DE LO QUE YA EXISTE, SE DISTRIBUYEN EL RESTO DE EDIFICIOSAÑADIDOS. LAS PLANTAS BAJAS, SOLO OCUPADAS, EN PARTE PORCOMERCIOS O ACCESOS, AMPLIAN EL ESPACIO PUBLICO,TANTO FÍSICOCOMO VISUAL, Y ANULAN LA MONOTONÍA EN EL RECORRIDO DE LA CIUDAD.LA VEGETACION Y LA LUZ MEDIANTE LOS AMPLIOS HUECOS PERFORADOSEN LOS ZOCALOS CONFLUYEN EN TODOS ESOS PUNTOS DE ENCUENTRO DELOS CIUDADANOS.

The proposal is located on the main curve of the circuit. Considering architecture as a “promena-de”, it offers a paved path below which the visi-tors can sit to watch the game and above which VIPs get to their building.
